NORWOOD are a chance to have Captain Matthew Nunn available for Sunday’s Qualifying Final clash with the Eagles at Adelaide Oval.
The 23-year-old suffered a severe hamstring injury against Port Adelaide in Round 15, however, has progressed well with his rehab making him a chance to lead the Redlegs Sunday afternoon.
Nunn could also be joined by midfielder Brad McKenzie who missed last weekends clash with hamstring soreness. The booming left kick will return to training this week to put himself up for selection.
Young duo Brodie Carroll (hamstring) and Nick Pedro (cork) could also both be available for Sunday afternoon’s clash. Carroll has continued his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury sustained a month ago, while Pedro will be tested this week after a corky ruled him out of Norwood’s Round 19 clash with Adelaide.
Forward Tom Wagner also missed last weekends game due to a cork and will train this week before putting his hand up for selection.
Defender Michael Talia (hamstring) and forward Paul Puopolo (knee) continue to make good progress with their respective injuries but are still at least one more week away from returning.
Running defender Isaac Saywell who missed last weekends game with a foot injury is listed as TBC as he returns to light training this week.
Star midfielder, Matthew Panos continues his re-integration into training, however, will not feature for the remainder of the 2021 season.
