Crows started the third term with a point to prove as they kicked three goals in a row to reduce the deficit to 20-points before Pascoe marked strongly for Norwood executed his set shot to get the margin back out to 26-points.
A moment of magic occurred minutes after as Gerloff pulled down a screamer to bring the Norwood fans off their seats in jubilation. He made no mistake from 35-metres and suddenly the Legs looked the good surging to a 31-point lead.
But the Crows, who had a fair contingent of AFL talent, fought back and cut the margin to 11 points with two goals to end the third term and the first goal of the final quarter.
Captain Cameron Shenton put his stamp on the contest kicking a crucial goal from 40-metres as Gerloff kicked his third and Nelligan got in on the act kicking his first.
