Men’s Team Selection Round 14

NORWOOD has recalled experienced forward Brady Dawe and youngster Josh Richards ahead of Saturday’s crucial clash with the Panthers at Coopers Stadium.

Dawe performed strongly in the Reserves last weekend and has earned himself a senior recall, as Norwood looks for another forward option to partner Luke Surman in attack on Saturday afternoon.

Dawe is one of four inclusions for Round 14, with speedy wingman Josh Richards, Cam Ball and Sam Buckham all included in the squad.

Richards earned a senior recall after 18 disposals, and seven tackles in the Reserves on Sunday.

Talented duo Cam Ball and Sam Buckham have also been named following strong months in the Reserves.

Both, however, find themselves on the extended bench with the final 21 named on Friday afternoon.

Skipper Jace Bode won’t feature at Senior level as he looks to build his fitness through the Reserves, while Cody Szust has been omitted following Norwood’s loss last Sunday to Glenelg.

The Legs and Panthers will compete in Statewide Super Family Round on Saturday afternoon.

First bounce is at 2.10pm and the game will be broadcast live on the SANFL Digital Pass.

The Reserves will take on the Panthers at 11:30 am.
