The Norwood Football Club is proud to be supporting the Neil Sachse Centre as our coaches Michael Knoll and Brian Zanker take on the 3-day, 300kms+ cycling challenge through the Yorke Peninsula whilst raising funds for spinal cord research.
Neil’s vision remains the focal point of the Neil Sachse Centre: to find a cure for Spinal Cord Injuries and change the future for people living with these disabling conditions. The Project Discovery bike ride as named for Neil Sachse Centre’s Project Discovery program. Project Discovery was developed by NSC researchers using positron emission tomography (PET) to image the spinal cord in new and innovative ways, providing more accurate diagnosis and treatment. The NSC is undertaking its first Project Discovery Clinical Trial and funds raised by PD7 riders and sponsors will support this vital work.
The Club encourages supporters and partners to make a donation to support Neil Sachse Centre by visiting fundraising pages below, all funds raised will go straight to Spinal Cord Injury Research.
Update on 26 October: Unfortunately Stephen has suffered an injury, Brian Zanker will be riding his place.
