Nathan Bassett to take a coaching job in Victoria

Former Norwood Senior Coach Nathan Bassett will head to Victoria in 2025, accepting a coaching role at an AFL club.

Bassett, who returned to Norwood in a coaching coordinator role in 2024, announced on SEN SA that he’s accepted a role in Melbourne.

“I’m taking a coaching job in Melbourne, that’s all I can say for now,” he said while co-hosting the Kymbo and the Rooch Drive Show on SEN SA today.

Norwood has commenced the search for a Senior Coach, after its coach of four seasons Jade Rawlings announced that he would also be returning to the AFL in an assistant coach capacity at Fremantle.
