We went down in the Third-place playoff last Friday night to finish off the season against Central Districts Football Club. Not without a fight and another comeback in the last half but we still fell short by 20 points. Again throughout our game, we mixed our rotations up and were able to have all players make great contributions. This will go a long way for more wins next season.
It wasn’t the final result we were hoping for, but after a very challenging season we finished off with a lot of positives heading into next year. We are very much hopeful that next season a points classification system will be implemented to make the teams a lot fairer.
Congratulations to Sturt FC for their back-to-back Premiership wins.
We now look to have a small break and then knuckle down for a big preseason, a lot of come-and-try sessions for all of the clubs to join in, draft selections and get our main team ready to make a surge for our ultimate goal. Bringing the cup home to Norwood.
We are so pumped for our men’s side in the upcoming Grand Final!!
Good luck Boys, bring it home!!
Cheers,
Grant L
