Norwood’s Round 16 SANFL clash with Adelaide at Coopers Stadium holds a deeper meaning, as the Redlegs celebrates Count Me In Round on Saturday, August 2.
The club proudly marks the Count Me In Round to celebrate its shared commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion across the community.
The Norwood Football Club is proud to partner with the Count Me In Foundation, an organisation that works tirelessly to ensure everyone feels seen, heard and valued… on and off the field.
Norwood also acknowledges the vital support of Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc., a longstanding partner of Count Me In.
CBS Inc. supports people living with disability, mental health conditions, injuries or illnesses to find and maintain open employment, empowering individuals and strengthening workplaces throughout South Australia.
As a proud sponsor and partner of the Norwood Football Club, CBS Inc. continues to create meaningful pathways to employment for people with disability, ensuring our community is inclusive, diverse and stronger for it.
Together with Count Me In, CBS is helping drive positive change, supporting gender and ability equity at all levels of our game.
Count Me In Round also coincides with Ladies Day, further highlighting the importance of inclusive participation in sport and society.
In a busy week for Norwood, the Redlegs also have a SANFL Wheelchair Football match on Friday, August 1 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre (6:15pm start), as well as U18 and U16 Boys matches on Saturday, August 2 at Richmond’s Hisense Stadium.
The Club will also be hosting its Senior Women’s Best and Fairest Awards Night on Friday night.
Norwood is proud to stand together with CBS Inc. and the Count Me In Foundation to make a difference.
Saturday at The Parade kicks off with the Reserves match against West Adelaide at 10:20am, followed by the League clash between the Redlegs and Crows from the earlier start time of 1:10pm.
Everyone is welcome to the Norwood Function Room within the Wolf Blass Community Centre, where the club will be hosting a Pre-Game Bistro rather than the usual Pre-Match Function.
