Norwood duo make U18 State Squad, U16 Girls to play Vic Metro this week

Both Evans and van Wyk are members of Norwood’s Senior program, with Evans making his SANFL debut in Round 1 of 2023, averaging 15 disposals across his first two games.

The SA team will contest the 2023 AFL National Championships in June. See the full squad here

Congratulations also to Norwood’s Orlando Turner who has been named in the 2023 AFL Academy squad. The Academy team will play a game against Port Adelaide’s SANFL team at Mt Barker tomorrow, following the AFL Gather Round game.

Norwood’s Coby Morgan (U18), Molly Brooksby (U18), Charli Hazelhurst (U16), Asha Bianchi (U16) and Kyah Jaffer (U16) have also made 2023 SA State Women’s Squads.

Bianchi, Jaffer and Hazelhurst will travel to Melbourne this weekend as part of the Girls U16 State Team to play Victoria Metro at North Melbourne FC headquarters Arden Street on Sunday.

Both the U16 and U18 Girls squads will travel to Perth the following week to play WA in the National Youth Championships.
