The Norwood Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Kelly as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1 2025.
A former Norwood player and respected leader in South Australian football, Richard brings extensive experience in elite sport, commercial operations and community engagement.
He has served the club in various leadership roles, most recently as General Manager of Football, where he has been instrumental in strengthening the club’s football programs and community ties.
Richard’s appointment follows a thorough recruitment process. It was extremely pleasing to receive a significant number of highly credentialed applications, which is a testament to the high regard in which the Norwood Football Club is held within the business community.
The depth and quality of candidates reflected the strong interest from many accomplished individuals eager to lead the club.
Richard’s deep understanding of the club’s values, combined with his strategic vision and proven leadership, made him the ideal choice to guide Norwood into its next chapter.
“I’m honoured to lead a club that has shaped so much of my life,” Richard Kelly said.
