Norwood FC Cheer Squad Reunion

Our cheer squad dates back to the early 60’s.

The club sponsored the squad back in 68-70 along with ‘Halls’ (Soft Drink) provided uniforms for the 20 young ladies.

Throughout the 70’s our squad grew and into the 80’s became one of the biggest and most admired in the SANFL (Almost 300 members).

The 90’s saw the squad smaller but still some enthusiasm, lots of colour and banners.

By 2000’s and with AFL looming we still maintained healthy numbers. Pity about today as we currently do not have a cheer squad. A lot of friendships were formed over the past 50-60 years and still friends today.

We decided a few years ago to have a ‘reunion’ but with the build and COVID-19 things stalled.

Now 2021…… The Wolf Blass Community Centre is up and running!

WHERE and WHEN: Saturday April 24th – Wolf Blass Community Centre

TIME: 7pm – Late

COST: $40 per head (Includes Finger Food and Entertainment ) Door Prize.

CAPACITY: 100 people (Maximum) – Unfortunately no partners at this current time, TBA.

TICKETS: Tickets online only. (Stuart Bee on behalf of the Reunion committee has set up the bank details.
