Norwood sign Patrick Walker and Ollie Sanders

The Norwood Football Club is excited to announce the recruitment of Patrick Walker and Ollie Sanders. Both originally from Tasmania, which has been a fantastic recruitment zone for Norwood recently.

They join a growing list of Tasmanian playing for Norwood, including Banyen Lowe and Tom Donnelly. Our Senior Coach Jade Rawlings, also originally from Tasmania, has been instrumental in bringing in talented Tasmanian footballers who are also quality people.

Patrick more recently has had 2 years with North Melbourne FC since joining the Kangaroos from North Hobart. He has played predominantly as a half back flanker in his time at North, is a quality character, who is excited to move to SA and join our footy club.

Ollie Sanders is from North Launceston. He played U/18’s for the Tassie Devils and senior footy for North Launceston FC in the TSL. Ollie moved his life to Victoria in 2022 and played for Carlton VFL. Ollie is a quality person, with an excellent work ethic. Has played as a mid and forward to this point in his career and is looking forward to wearing the red and blue.
