Norwood will compete in the SANFL Wheelchair Football League Grand Final for the second consecutive season this Friday night at the Lights Community and Sports Centre.
The Redlegs will take on the reigning premier Woodville-West Torrens Eagles in the decider, which is a rematch of last season’s Grand Final.
Norwood qualified for the Grand Final following a six-win three-loss season, which sat them second on the ladder.
The Eagles finish on top of the ladder with an 8-0 record, as well as a forfeit in Round 1 (on player points), which ended up being a win to Norwood 12.2-74 to 5.5-35.
The Redlegs rounded out their home and away season with a commanding 86-point win over West Adelaide on Friday night, 18.4-112 to 3.8-26.
Whilst the Grand Final spot was all-but locked in before the Round 9 game was played, it was good for the Redlegs to conclude the season with a strong win over the competition newcomers in the Bloods.
Central District finished third with a 4-5 record, and Westies fourth 0-9.
The Grand Final will take place from 7:30pm on Friday, August 29 at The Lights, with the third place playoff to commence from 6:10pm.
Entry to the Grand Final is free.
