Norwood's Noah Daw was best on ground in the U18s on Sunday.
Norwood’s U16 season is off to a positive start, winning a second straight game in a dominant performance over Woodville-West Torrens on Sunday.
The Redlegs struggled through the 2024 season, but have played three quality matches in the opening three rounds of 2025.
Norwood narrowly went down to West Adelaide in Round 2 (first game of the year), then have enjoyed a seven-point win over North Adelaide and a 14-point win over the Eagles in Round 4.
While it was just 14 points in the end, the game was dominated by the Redlegs who had 25 scoring shots to 11, but could not convert in front of goal in the 6.19-55 to 6.5-41 win.
Norwood led by a match-high 36 points early in the final term, before the Eagles came storming home with the final four goals to get the game back to 12 points and make Redlegs players and coaches more than a little nervous.
Up until that point, Norwood was outstanding in every facet except for conversion, leading 5.15 to 2.4 at three quarter time.
Norwood won disposals 357-283, marks 93-73, clearances 27-20 and inside 50m 50-31.
Charlie Best was outstanding for Norwood with 31 disposals, in a best on ground performance. Mason Tambe gathered 28 touches and Cooper Allen 24.

Norwood’s U18s went down to a quality Woodville-West Torrens side by 40 points on Sunday afternoon.
The Redlegs were in the game early, before the Eagles put the foot down in the second and third quarters, kicking nine goals to three and setting up a 16.9-105 to 10.5-65.
The lead ballooned out to 63 points in the final term, but the Redlegs kicked the last four goals of the match to finish the game strongly.
Mitchell Stevenson kicked four goals for Norwood, while Darcy Speyer had 32 disposals, six tackles and six clearances.
Noah Daw was Norwood’s best, with a 26-disposal, 10-mark and eight-rebound 50m performance.
