Past Player of the Week – Ben Modra

Recruited from Plympton, Ben Modra played six games for the Norwood under 17s in 1987.

He had a solid year in 1988 playing for the under 19s when he made 20 appearances, booted 45 goals and played in a premiership. Norwood easily defeated Glenelg in the decider : 19.17 to 10.9. Modra also had a taste of reserves football (three games).
