Past Player of the Week – Brenton Maynard

A high-leaping key forward/defender/ruckman, Brenton Maynard was recruited by Norwood from the Lameroo North Football Club.

In 1983 Maynard played in a premiership for the Norwood Under 19’s –  the Redlegs easily defeating Sturt in the Grand Final. He played 18 games for the year and was named the team’s best and fairest.
