Past Player of the Week – Dean Renfrey

Educated at Thorndon High School, Dean Renfrey played seven games for Norwood’s Under 17’s in 1977, and another 21 the following season. In 1977 he was also a member of the State High Schools Under 16 team.

In 1979 he progressed to the Under 19’s, although he still played some Under 17’s and one Reserves game. During the season he was a Teal Cup Under 17’s State representative. Renfrey played in the 1980 Under 19’s premiership.
