Past Player of the Week – Greg Kuchel

Greg Kuchel moved to Adelaide and joined Norwood in 1967 after playing a few reserves games with Carlton earlier in the year.

At 198cm and 95kg, the left-footed young ruckman won the club’s most improved player award in 1968. He had proven to be a quick learner and a tireless performer. Unfortunately he faced a major setback when he broke his leg at state training in May 1970.
