Past Player of the Week – Jack Palmer

Jack Palmer was educated at Prince Alfred College and was recruited by Norwood from East Adelaide in 1923. He was a junior member of Norwood’s league side in 1925, but developed into an important component of the team’s forward line by season’s end.

A slight but clever footballer, he was a good mark and accurate kick. He played as a half forward flanker in Norwood’s 1925 grand final win over West Torrens.
