Past Player of the Week – Joseph Pollock

Recruited from Albert Park/Hotham Hill in 1879, Joe “Curly” Pollock gave great service during his seven seasons representing the Norwood Football Club.

A tireless and determined follower, who was noted for playing on the ball the entire match, Pollock was one of the club’s finest performers in a period when Norwood rarely lost a game.
