Past Player of the Week – Roger Murdoch

Recruited from the United Club in the Murray Lands Football League, Roger “Froggy” Murdoch became one of Norwood’s most popular players. In 1980 he played 20 games for the Norwood under 17s, and in the following year 21 games for the under 19s.

Murdoch progressed through the grades, and in 1982 played reserves (15 games) as well as under 19s (9 games).
