Past Player of the Week – Sam Gallagher

Born January 22, 1926, Kevin James “Sam” Gallagher began his football career with the Marist Brothers’ School at Norwood, and continued at Sacred Heart College, Somerton.

In 1942 Gallagher joined the Norwood Colts and played as a centreman/half-forward, before joining the Royal Australian Air Force.
