Past Player of the Week – Scott Bassett

Scott Bassett attended Norwood High School and played football for the school as well as the Norwood Football Club junior grades. He played a handful of games for the under 17s in 1993. The following season Bassett appeared another nine times for the under 17s as well as 13 times for the under 19s.

He continued his progress through the Norwood grades, and in 1995 won flags with the under 19s (11 games) and with the Reserves (8 games). His older brother Nathan also played in both grand finals.
