After moving with his family from Tintinara to Kensington, Scott Robinson started his junior football for the Redlegs in the Under 12s. He progressed through the club’s special squads and won premierships playing for the Under 17 and Under 19 teams.
He made his senior debut in the 1992 pre-season Foundation Cup series against West Adelaide at Football Park. At season’s end, the high-marking rebounding defender was selected by the Sydney Swans in the national draft at pick number 35.
Deciding to play another season at The Parade, he was one of Norwood’s best players in its loss to Woodville-West Torrens in the 1993 SANFL Grand Final.
