Past Player of the Week – Wayne Tanner

From Jervois, Wayne Tanner was a strong and skilful wingman/half-back but unfortunately his career was to be severely hampered by injuries.

Tanner played 11 matches for the under 17’s in their 1982 premiership year.

In 1983 he progressed to the under 19’s, making 20 appearances and playing in Norwood’s Grand Final victory against Sturt : 24.17 to 11.17.
