Redlegs back on the winners list

After back to back losses, Norwood returned from the Bye in a big way on Friday night, smashing West Adelaide by 118 points at Parafield Gardens Recreation Centre.

It was an important response from the Redlegs, who needed to ensure they remained in top two considerations.

Norwood had few troubles with the Bloods, winning 22.9-141 to 3.5-23 in Round 5.

It’s back to Lightsview on Friday night, and a date with Centrals where the Redlegs will be looking to avenge the Round 3 loss, which was a dominant display from the Bulldogs.

Central District sit on top of the SANFL Wheelchair Football ladder with four wins, followed by Norwood and the Eagles with 3-2 records.

It seems a three-horse race for the two grand final spots, which Norwood and the Eagles have occupied for the past two seasons.
