Redlegs to Represent SA this weekend

Eight Norwood players will pull on State colours this weekend, as Senior Men’s, U20 and U18 State Teams take to the field across SA.

Jack Heard and Matt Ling will play for the SANFL tomorrow in the State Game against the WAFL at the Adelaide Oval, starting 11:30am.

Also taking place tomorrow at Norwood’s Coopers Stadium is the SA U20 team taking on the SA U18 team in a lead-up game to the National U18 AFL Championships.

After an impressive first month as a League player, Norwood’s Jacob Newton will represent the U20 side, while Jim Kelly, Fergus Myall, Balyn O’Brien, Noah Daw and Sam Ainsworth are the Redlegs named in the U18 squad.

The U20 V U18 game take place from 2:30pm tomorrow, following the Norwood V Eagles SANFLW match at Coopers Stadium from 11:50am.

Earlier this week the State U16 Boys squad was announced with Norwood’s Charlie Best, Kai Ivins, Thomas Gribben, Ollie Easton and Cooper Allen selected in the 30-player squad.
