NORWOOD has named a squad of 25 to face Sturt on Saturday afternoon at Coopers Stadium.
After a morale-boosting 18-point win over fierce rivals Port Adelaide, the Redlegs will look to continue this form against the third placed Double Blues this weekend.
The Redlegs will regain hard-running midfielder, Jay Rantall, after he missed last weekend’s clash due to illness, while Coach Jade Rawlings has named three other potential inclusions.
Midfield duo Jed Spence and Matt Vardanega have both been named on the extended bench, along with forward/ruck Tom Graham.
The trio impressed at Reserves level last weekend and may be called upon for the weekend’s clash with Sturt.
Spence racked up 30 disposals against West Adelaide last weekend, while Vardanega collected 20 disposals.
Graham amassed 23 touches to go with 13 hit-outs, five clearances and seven inside 50s.
There is only one omission at this stage with tough midfielder Jackson Kelly left out of the squad.
Reserves Coach Rob Harding will be bolstered by the return of forward Luke Surman after crossing over from Port Adelaide.
The 24-year-old will be sure to provide another marking target up forward for Norwood.
Norwood face Sturt on Saturday afternoon at Coopers Stadium at 2:35pm. If you can’t get to the game it will be streamed live and free on Channel 7.
