Round 13 Norwood v North Adelaide Game Day Information

The Redlegs return to Coopers Stadium this Saturday afternoon to face league leaders North Adelaide in Round 13.

NAIDOC Week 2022 is a celebration and recognition of all SANFL Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players, staff, members and supporters past and present who have made, and continue to make, such a significant contribution to our national game.

As we are currently in NAIDOC week, the Norwood Football Club will have a Welcome to Country which will be played via the Superscreen just before the bounce. Our players will also wear their Indigenous Jumpers again.

The club will also be recognising the Ken Gannon Award, after being judged for its ability to breathe new life into an “iconic South Australian Football venue.”

FAQ's

When do gates open?

All gates will be open from 10:45 am.

Are there any crowd restrictions? 

Under the latest SA Health guidelines, full capacity is now permitted. So, we have plenty of room for supporters to come on down and cheer on the Redlegs!

Do I need to be fully vaccinated to enter the grounds? 

There are currently no vaccine mandates for spectators attending games.

Can I access the Wolf Blass Community Centre?

The Wolf Blass Community Centre is open for Patrons (Members or Non-Members) at halftime and full time. There is no specific need to show membership. The upstairs is open to purchase drinks at both halftime and full time and the post-match presentations.

Where can I buy matchday tickets? 

Skip the queue and save! Match day tickets are now available online here or at Club reception. Both an email and eTicket via SMS will be sent to you.

Tickets can also be purchased at the gates, and entry is free for all under 18s.

What if I haven’t received my 2022 Membership yet and I want to attend the game? 

If you have not received your 2022 Membership by Friday, don’t worry! Single-game entry passes will be available at the merchandise shop.

Can I still purchase a 2022 Membership?

Definitely. The club will be able to put through membership purchases from the merchandise booth.

Will merchandise be available?

The latest 2022 merchandise will be available for members and supporters from both the merchandise shop and booth.

Will Football Budgets be available?

Yes! You can purchase a footy budget at the canteens located around the ground

Who has access to the Wolf Blass Community Centre?

Members and supporters can enjoy a drink in the Wolf Blass Community Centre at both halftime and post game. The centre is for anyone and not just members.

Is there food and drinks available?

We have plenty of outlets available across the grounds. These include:

  • Premiers Bar
  • Main Canteen
  • BBQ
  • Coopers Corner
  • Boundary Wing
  • Coopers Hill

Who has access to the grandstand? 

The grandstand is an NFC Members only access area. Entry is on a first-in first-served basis. All you need to do is show your membership card and You will be provided access entry into the grandstand. Please be mindful of reserved seats. If there is an overflow in the Western Stand the club has allocated section for members in the Southern Grandstand.

Are matchday Western Stand Seats available?

Supporters can sit in the Western Stand by purchasing a matchday Western Stand Ticket. These tickets will be available from the merchandise booth.

Is there car parking available?  

The Club car park has a set car park list. Public parking is available around the surrounding streets of Norwood. If you require disabled parking or have any further parking inquiries, please contact the club for more information.

Bladez The Barber Lounge Deck:

For the first time in South Australia, our fantastic partners Bladez TheBarber Lounge will cut out members’ and fans’ hair anytime during the game! All you need to do is visit the Bladez deck at the Southern End of Coopers Stadium for a fresh cut before or during the game. All Norwood members receive a $5 discount with all proceeds going to the Norwood Football Club Junior Development Funds!

FIP Coin Cards:

Members who are new to specific membership categories are entitled to a Norwood FIP Coin. These FIP Coin Cards can be picked up from the merchandise shop. If you have signed up again as a pre-existing Mates, Captains or Legends Member, your card will be topped up and ready for all home games.

Kick and a Catch

Great news! If you’re bringing the kids, you can also look forward to returning to the ‘Kick and Catch’ within the 50m arcs at each oval end during the quarter and half-time breaks and after the game.

Is it a smoke-free zone?

The venue is currently a smoke-free zone. If you wish to smoke, we ask that you please leave the grounds, and you will be provided with a pass-out ticket so that you may re-enter the oval.
