Round 14 Team Selection – Legs name squad for North clash

The Redlegs have named an initial squad of 25 to face league leaders North Adelaide on Saturday afternoon at Coopers Stadium.

There could be up to four possible inclusions for Saturday’s clash, headlined by star midfielder Matthew Panos who was, unfortunately, a late withdrawal last weekend.

Pressure forward Xavier Tranfa is also in the mix to return after missing last weekend’s clash for personal reasons. At the same time, fellow forward Mac Bower could also earn a recall after stringing several solid performances in the Reserves.

Dashing midfielder, Jai Larkins has also been included in the squad, and if selected could make his Norwood debut.

The Legs will be without experienced defender Mitch Wilkins after succumbing to an ankle injury.

In better news, the Redlegs are expected to regain trio Cam Taheny, Isaac Saywell and Tom Wagner this weekend.

The trio are all set to play minutes at Reserve level.

Saturday’s clash also marks the 50-game milestone for the ever-reliable defender, Cam Ball.

The Redlegs face North Adelaide in Round 14 of the SANFL Hostplus League from 2:10 pm.
