Norwood will take on Adelaide at Coopers Stadium in a Round 14 clash on Saturday, July 13.
The Redlegs sit on top of the ladder with a 10-2 record, and play the seventh placed 4-8 Crows, but Norwood will have its work cut out against a much improved Adelaide side.
The Redlegs defeated Adelaide by 18 points at The Parade in Round 6, but the Crows have found their mojo over the past fortnight.
Able to select a far stronger team in recent weeks, Adelaide comfortably defeated top four sides Central District (36 points) and Glenelg (39 points) in Elizabeth and Glenelg respectively to move from 2-8 to 4-8.
Riley Thilthorp and Hugh Bond have been selected in Adelaide’s AFL team, but the SANFL Crows will still run out with AFL-hardened players such as Ned McHenry, Lachie Gollant, Kieran Strachan and Chris Burgess (as well as AFL Emergencies with Adelaide scheduled to play St Kilda Saturday night)
Norwood will welcome back its Captain, Jacob Kennerley from a groin injury, while Jayden Gale returns from work commitments. Oscar Hodge comes in for his first SANFL match of the year, and Calem Krollig has been named as a debutant (if selected). Hodge, Gale and Krollig have been named on an extended bench.
Pierce Seymour is out, due to an overseas trip.
Jay Polkinghorne will play his second Reserves game against Glenelg this weekend, following a two-goal performance against West Adelaide last Sunday.
Reserves leading goal kicker Liam Robinson is back from an ankle injury, while ruckman Marco D’Annunzio returns from a finger injury.
The Redlegs take on Adelaide from 1:10pm on Saturday, while the Reserves play Glenelg from 10:20pm at The Parade.
