NORWOOD speedster, Jai Larkins will play his first League game this weekend, when the Redlegs face Centrals in Round 17 at Elizabeth Oval.
The Queensland product joined Norwood at the beginning of 2021 from the Redlands Football Club.
Larkins hasn’t missed a game year, playing all 15 Reserve games thus far. He provides dashing speed and will spend time through the midfield and across half forward.
The 22-year-old finds himself in the League following several strong performances in the Reserves where he averages 19.3 disposals per game.
Senior Coach Jade Rawlings has named another three potential inclusions for Saturday’s clash with the Dogs.
Dashing defender Brodie Carroll could play his first League game of 2022 after showing good form at Reserves level, while linkman Tom Wagner and pressure forward Baynen Lowe could both be recalled adding extra depth up forward.
Norwood’s Reserves will be bolstered by the return of father-son product Max Michalanney, as well as Josh Bradford and Tyson Walls.
The Redlegs face Central District on Saturday afternoon at X-Convenience Oval from 1:35 pm. If you can’t make the game it will stream live and free on Channel 7.
