NORWOOD have sustained a double injury blow with pair Cory Stockdale and Ben Kelly casualties from Saturdays League and Reserves clash with Central District.

The versatile Stockdale suffered a knee injury in the third quarter of the win over Centrals and will be assessed during the week, with a timeframe on his return still to be determined.

Improved defender, Ben Kelly suffered a foot injury during the Reserves clash which will rule him out unfortunately for the remainder of 2022.

In the same game, forward Tom Wagner sustained a shoulder injury which saw play no further part in the game. Wagner will be assessed through the week with a clear timeline to follow.

In better news for Norwood, trio Mitch Cotter, Matthew Nunn and Matthew Panos are all progressing well from their respective injuries and will increase their training loads this week.

Unfortunately, Ed O’Connor and Nick Pedro have both been ruled out for the remainder of 2022 with ankle and concussion problems.

Experienced defender Mitch Wilkins is still listed as a TBC, as is the case with Stefan Lanzoni who suffered a hamstring injury a month ago.

The Redlegs face Glenelg in their final home match of the season from 7:40pm this Friday night at Coopers Stadium.
