Round 18 Teams

The time to string back to back wins together is now for the Norwood Football Club, as the Redlegs head to Prospect Oval to face North Adelaide in a must-win Round 18 clash this Saturday.

Norwood lost its first five matches of the 2025 season, but from there have gone win-loss-win-loss for the remainder of the campaign to catapult itself back into finals contention.

Now, the Redlegs destiny is in their own hands, but require wins from their final two home and away matches against the Roosters and Magpies if they want to make sure of the last remaining finals finish.

Norwood has made two changes from last Saturday’s one point win over West Adelaide, with Round 17 debutant Jack Aherne and Oliver Sanders heading back to the Reserves.

Mitch Nicholas returns from a quad injury which has kept him on the sidelines for the last month, while Max Hodges, Daniel Gauci, Jack Saunders and Dom White have come into an extended 25-man League squad.

North Adelaide defeated the Redlegs back in Round 1, but have gone on to win three more matches this season, losing its last seven games. However, the Roosters took the reigning premiers Glenelg all the way last Saturday, eventually going down by five points.

The Redlegs will also have a close eye on the Round 18 game between Port Adelaide and Glenelg at Stratarama Stadium, as an upset Magpies win would make the calculations all the more difficult for Norwood.
