NORWOOD is a chance to regain tough inside midfielder Mitch Cotter ahead of Saturday’s Round 19 clash with West Adelaide.
After suffering a knee injury during Norwood’s 26-point win against Sturt in Round 12, the 22-year-old is listed as a test this week and is a chance for selection.
It remains whether Cotter will return via the League or Reserves side following a lengthy stint on the sidelines.
Unfortunately, the Redlegs will be without forward Tom Wagner for the remainder of the 2022 SANFL Season. Wagner injured his shoulder in Round 17 against Centrals and will have surgery this week which will force him out for the remainder of the 2022 campaign.
Captain Matthew Nunn (Ankle), Matthew Panos (Hamstring) and Cory Stockdale (knee) are progressing well with their rehabilitation and are all a strong chance to be available for Norwood’s first final in a fortnights time.
Stefan Lanzoni (Hamstring) and Mitch Wilkins (Ankle) are still listed as TBCs with no timeline yet decided on their returns.
The Redlegs face West Adelaide in their final minor round clash on Saturday afternoon at Hisense Stadium with the first bounce at 1:10pm.
