Norwood will be desperate to secure a third win of the 2025 SANFL season when it hosts South Adelaide at Coopers Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Redlegs performances have been much improved over the past six weeks, but it’s led to just two wins to the half way point of the season.
One of those victories came against South Adelaide in Noarlunga in Round 6. Just four games later, the Redlegs take on the Panthers once again in a Triple Header at The Parade (Reserves 9:40am, SANFLW 12:10pm, SANFL 2:30pm).
Norwood has recalled Jayden Gale to the extended League line up after back to back impressive performances in the Reserves, kicking four goals from 28 disposals against Sturt in Round 9.
Max Hodges and Jack Saunders are also listed on the extended Bench.
Norwood has won two of its last four matches, with victories against South and West Adelaide, and narrow losses against top five teams in Sturt and Central District.
In Round 9 it was a devastating four-point loss against the undefeated Double Blues, after leading by 15 points late in the last term.
Norwood has proven it can match up against the top sides, getting into winning positions against Sturt, Glenelg, Adelaide, Woodville-West Torrens and Centrals, without going on to get the points.
South Adelaide will also be hoping to get a win on the board to kick-start its season, with the Panthers only victory of the 2025 season coming in Round 2 against West Adelaide.
