The 6-0 Redlegs will have a tough battle on their hands on Saturday afternoon, taking on the third placed Bulldogs, who up until their last match against Sturt were also undefeated.
Both Norwood and Centrals had a bye last weekend for the State match.
In Round 6, Norwood defeated Adelaide by 18 points at Coopers Stadium, while the Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season to Sturt in Elizabeth, 6.5-41 to 11.10-76.
Central District forward Aiden Grace has booted 15 goals from six matches to sit him equal second on the Ken Farmer Medal Tally, while Nick Lange has also been dangerous with 13 goals to his name. Grace booted four goals in last week’s State game against the WAFL, while Jez McLennan was named best on ground.
Norwood captain Jacob Kennerley is back in the line up this week, having recovered from a hamstring injury that’s kept him out of the Round 5 and 6 wins against North Adelaide and Adelaide.
Alec Wright and Ben Simpson are also back in the side, named on an extended bench.
Jack Saunders and Luke Surman will play their first matches of the season in the Reserves, returning from ankle and hamstring injuries respectively.
