Norwood’s U18 Girls side will be hoping to claim its third consecutive win this Sunday when they travel to Richmond Oval to take on the top of the ladder Central District.

The inaugural competition is only into its third week, but the Redlegs and Bulldogs have earnt positions one and two following an impressive first fortnight.

The Redlegs have secured wins against Woodville-West Torrens in Round 1, and a 20-point win against West Adelaide last Saturday to sit second on the table, while Centrals have destroyed their first two opponents, Glenelg by 67 points and South Adelaide by 51.

Norwood’s U18 Girls Coach Bri Arthur was proud of the way her side had approached the first two games.

“It’s only been two weeks, but I am very happy with the start the girls have produced,” she said via The Redlegs Review Podcast.

“We have had a different team each week, so a lot of players rolling through, but its good we can still perform consistently.

“I feel proud to be coaching this team, and we are looking forward to the challenge this week.”
