SANFL Wheelchair Football – Round 8 match report

Norwood will play its final game of the home and away SANFL Wheelchair Football League season against the Eagles tonight at The Lights Community and Sports Centre, from 7:45pm.

Norwood drew last Friday’s game against Sturt 8.5-53 to 7.11-53 in what was a tough, physical match.

Since the last time Norwood played Sturt there had been several positional changes throughout the side which has allowed Norwood to be a much more versatile unit in the way we matchup against the opposition on any given week.

Norwood was in control for the majority of the contest and played the game on their terms, and what has to be described as the most cohesive and well rounded performance from everyone involved on the night

Although the Redlegs were unable to come away with a win it is fantastic to see them finally get some points on the board as we look to carry this run of form into next week where we will look to round out the season on a high.
