Norwood has a huge do or die Round 14 SANFLW clash with West Adelaide on Saturday afternoon at Richmond Oval.
The SANFLW season has come down to this Saturday’s final round, with three clubs vying for one finals place, Norwood, West Adelaide and Sturt.
The Redlegs are the current incumbents of fourth place, with South Adelaide, Central District and South Adelaide already locking in their top three places.
Due to one extra premiership point and superior percentage – if the Redlegs win or draw on Saturday, they are guaranteed the finals position, but if they lose it opens the door to the Bloods and Double Blues.
Norwood take on West Adelaide in a thrilling fourth V fifth encounter on the Bloods home deck, while the sixth placed Sturt host the bottom of the table North Adelaide who were kept winless until Round 10.
The Redlegs will be without Lana Schwerdt who has an untimely University Exam scheduled for Saturday, making way for Tesharna Maher to re-enter the side.
It’s going to be a tough and tense battle at Richmond Oval on Saturday afternoon, while many supporters will also have another eye on the results from the Sturt match taking place at Unley Oval simultaneously.
