Norwood’s SANFLW side travels to Richmond’s Hisense Stadium on Saturday, taking on West Adelaide in a First Nations Round Triple Header.

The Senior Women’s game is the third of three Norwood V West Adelaide matches on Saturday, with the Reserves from 10:30am, SANFL 1:10pm and SANFLW 4pm.

The Redlegs will be looking for back to back wins and a third win from their last five matches, as they continue their resurgence in 2025.

Norwood managed just one win from its first five matches of the season, putting the Redlegs firmly on the back foot, however things have started to turn in the past month.

Aside from a 50-point loss to the top of the table Eagles in Round 8, the Redlegs have been much improved, winning matches against Central District and Glenelg, and are now just one win outside the top four.

This Round 10 clash with the Bloods is huge for both clubs, who both sit 3-6 and awaiting a slip up from the fourth placed Double Blues who have a 4-5 scoreline.

Sturt play Centrals this week, in what is forming to be a season defining Round as the fourth to seventh teams all play against each other.

Norwood will also be hoping to crash the party as West Adelaide have a big Saturday planned, being First Nations Round and their SANFLW side running out for their 100th match. This was a milestone Norwood brought up in Round 2, fittingly against the Bloods.

In the Round 2 match-up, it was Westies that came away with the win at The Parade, 5.12-42 to 2.3-15.

The Redlegs have made two changes from last week’s spirited win over the Bulldogs, with Nicola Burns and Grace Mulvahil coming in for Shai Hiscock and Emma Clark.

Hiscock hurt her knee in the Round 9 win, and scans have confirmed an ACL tear, while Clark is out with concussion.
