Team Selection – Five inclusions for Sturt clash

NORWOOD will unleash key forward/ruck, Luke Surman, ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with Sturt at Coopers Stadium.

Coach Jarrod Cotton will make at least two changes with Captain Matthew Panos and running defender Jacob Collins both ruled out.

Norwood will be without Panos for the next 12 months after he sustained an ACL injury in the 12-point loss to Centrals, while Collins has been ruled out with a hamstring strain.

Cotton has brought in potential debutants Jack Heard and Sam Barnett after a string of strong performances in the Reserves, while Jed Spence is a chance to play his third league game for the season.

Running defender Brodie Carroll who played three League games in 2019, could be in line for his first senior game for season 2020.

Carroll looms as a likely replacement for the injured Jacob Collins and will provide plenty of dash and rebound off half-back.

The Redlegs will look to record their sixth win of 2020 when they face the Double Blues at Coopers Stadium this Friday night from 7:40pm.
