Team Selection – Jarvis and Pedro to return

NORWOOD has named its squad of 25 to face West Adelaide for the first-ever time in Port Lincoln for Anzac Round.

After recording their first win of 2022 last Friday night, the Redlegs will look to record back-to-back wins when they face a tough West Adelaide outfit at Centenary Oval Sunday afternoon.

Norwood will be bolstered by the return of two Eyre Peninsula products in Nick Pedro and Ben Jarvis, while the Redlegs could unveil a potential debutant in Pierce Seymour who has been named on the extended bench.

The Redlegs have also named defensive duo Matt Vardanega and Michael Cavallaro as part of their squad of 25 to face the Bloods.

Norwood unfortunately will be without EP product Lochie Charlton who has entered H&S Protocols, as well as tough midfielder Mitch Cotter.

The return of Jarvis and Pedro are of high significance with their ability to assist up forward and in defence.

Jarvis has been excellent thus far kicking five goals in his first two games of League football, while Pedro had 17 disposals against the Bays in Round one.

Norwood’s clash with West Adelaide begins at 2:10pm at Centenary Oval this Sunday afternoon, while the Reserves are in action tomorrow night at Coopers Stadium from 6:00pm.
