NORWOOD has named its squad of 25 to face reigning Premiers Woodville West Torrens tomorrow night at Coopers Stadium.
After suffering a 15-point defeat at the hands of Glenelg in round one, the Redlegs could have up to five potential inclusions for its first home game of 2022.
After impressing in the Reserves last week, defender Max Hodges has been named on the extended bench to tackle the Eagles.
Hodges had 18 disposals and was impressive in his defensive pressure and ability to control the backline.
Norwood has also named tough inside midfielder, Mitch Cotter as well as Sam Morris who played his role last weekend collecting 19-disposals and kicking a goal. Isaac Saywell is another who is a chance to face the Eagles after a solid outing at the Bay. Playing a wing role, Saywell collected 18 disposals and was clean by hand and foot.
Forward Tom Wagner has also been included in the squad of 25 and could be a likely option if the Redlegs coaching staff look to add more of a presence within the forward set-up.
Unfortunately for Norwood halfback, Nick Pedro and midfielder Josh Richards have both been ruled out due to Health and Safety Protocols.
As for the Reserves, they will also look to bounce back following a tight six-point loss to the Bays.
The Reserves side still has plenty of experience with off-season trio Thomas Graham, Tom Condon and Pierce Seymour all included.
Norwood’s clash with the Eagles begins at 7:45 pm tomorrow night at Coopers Stadium with the Reserves in action beforehand at 5:10 pm.
