Team Selection – Norwood name four inclusions for Eagles clash

NORWOOD could name up to four new players for its Round 10 clash against league leaders Woodville West Torrens tomorrow night.

There is one confirmed out at this stage, with wingman Zac Richards suffering a dislocated kneecap which will see him sidelined for the next fortnight.

After three league games earlier in 2020, Cody Szust could be in line for a fourth after being named on the extended bench, along with Reserves Magarey Medallist Jed Spence.

Young defender Daniel Fairbrother has also been named and could make his league debut after a best on ground performance last week in the Reserves.

Defender Jack Heard is also a chance to play his first League game and would be a welcome addition to Norwood’s back six with his balance and strong marking ability and key feature.

After being listed as a test with an ankle injury, Cole Gerloff has been named in the starting 18 and is set to play this Friday night.

Norwood takes on Woodville at Coopers Stadium from 7:40pm on Friday night.
