Norwood returns from a Bye to take on South Adelaide at Coopers Stadium on Saturday afternoon, August 12.

It will be the first time the Redlegs have played since the tragic passing of current squad member and 2022 Premiership player Nick Lowden.

Saturday’s game will include a pre-game tribute which will commence just before 2pm. The League match will start at 2:10pm, and the Reserves at 11:30am.

The SANFL announced yesterday that a tribute for Nick will take place prior to every SANFL game of Round 16, while teams from all grades will wear black armbands.

Norwood has named six inclusions for Saturday, with Cameron Ball, Tristan Binder, Luke Surman, Finn Heard, Alex van Wyk and Jayden Gale listed in the extended squad of 25.

If selected Gale and van Wyk would be making their SANFL debuts. They are currently listed on an extended bench.

Alec Wright (shoulder), Baynen Lowe (concussion), Ben Jarvis (hip) and Liam Robinson (omitted) are the Outs.

In the Reserves squad, 2022 Premiership player Henry Nelligan has been named for his first match of 2023.

The U16s and U18s will take on South Adelaide in Noarlunga on Saturday.
