Teams: U16 & U18

Norwood’s Junior sides will play their last matches of the 2023 season this Saturday.

The Redlegs U18s and U16s will take on West Adelaide in Round 18 at Norwood Oval, with the U16s kicking off at 11am, followed by the U18s at 1:15pm.

Both Norwood sides had challenges at the selection table in Round 17 due to the Adelaide College Football schedule but the Redlegs U16s and U18s each welcome back key players this weekend.

The U16s have made 11 changes from the team that got comprehensively beaten by Central District last Saturday, and the U18s eight changes from the previous week.

Jay Polkinghorne and Jack Michalanney are key ins for the U18s side, while the likes of Jeff Rozenbilds, Will Prescott and Harry Lake will help bolster the U16s team.

The stronger Norwood teams will have a good chance to secure a win against the Bloods in the final outing of 2023.
