Thankyou Jo Hill

It’s hard to think of an individual that embodies the word ‘Champion’ more than Jo Hill. A fierce and decorated competitor, a generous and loyal teammate, a humble and gentle person.

Jo Hill joined the Norwood Football Club in 2018, bringing with her over 30 years of professional sporting experience, having represented Australia in Olympic and world championship basketball.

Jo proved immediately influential on the football field, providing the club with a tall and reliable target up forward. In addition to her influence and leadership on the field, Jo became an important mentor for the playing group.

Deeply kind and caring in her approach to her teammates, Jo always took the time to share her knowledge of what it takes to perform at the highest level. Jo finishes her playing career having booted 20 goals across 22 games, finishing the 2019 season as the club’s highest goal scorer.
