The Norwood Football Club is excited to announce the signing of former Central Districts forward Thomas Graham.
Graham, the son of former Hawthorn (223 games) and Richmond (20 games) player, Mark Graham signs with Norwood after spending the past two seasons at Elizabeth.
A key position player who provides flexibility around the ground, Graham played mostly as a key forward who can also pinch-hit in the ruck.
The 195cm forward joins teammate Connor McLean who has also joined Norwood ahead of the 2022 SANFL Season.
In 2021, Graham played 14 League games and kicked nine goals.
Norwood Senior Coach Jade Rawlings said he was pleased to acquire the services of Graham, who will complement the Redlegs forward line set-up and provide yet another avenue to goal.
“Thomas, I have known for a very long time as I played footy with his Dad,” said Rawlings.
“He is a terrific young man, started off playing with the Oakleigh Chargers in Melbourne then moved to Adelaide to play with Centrals and has been playing footy in Darwin with the Waratahs.
“He has probably 40 or 50 games under his belt after coming from a basketball background.
“Thomas is 195cm forward who can also play as a backup ruck. He is a terrific athlete and works hard on his conditioning.
“I think there is massive improvement left in his footy and what I rate most of all is Thomas’ character.
“We like to think he is going to flourish and thrive from being in our program and working with our coaches and players at Norwood.”
