A limited number of pre-purchased tickets for Round 1 of the SANFL Statewide Super League at Adelaide Oval this weekend will go on sale via Ticketek at 1pm today.
Following the closure of the SANFL club members ticket ballot, the general public will now have a rare opportunity to snap up a limited number of remaining tickets to Saturday and Sunday’s historic double-headers at the home of SA footy.
“It was a great outcome with all those loyal SANFL Club Members in the ballot being successful in getting a ticket to support their teams at the game this weekend,” SANFL Chief Executive Officer Jake Parkinson said.
“Now there’s an opportunity for more footy fans to be a part of this unique footy experience – the largest crowd in the nation since the Covid-19 shutdown – at Adelaide Oval.”
Mr Parkinson said fans must pre-purchase tickets online via Ticketek, with no ticket sales available at Adelaide Oval on either of the match days to avoid queues.
He said tickets would provide entry to both SANFL Statewide Super League games on their day of attendance, offering fans a full match day experience.
Therefore, those attending on Saturday are permitted to view both Central v Sturt at 11.50am and Eagles v South at 2.40pm while those on Sunday can stay for the North v West contest at 12pm as well as the Glenelg v Norwood blockbuster at 3.05pm.
Spectators will be issued with a contactless electronic, non-transferable ticket, to be scanned from their mobile phone upon entry at Adelaide Oval on match day.
Due to social distancing requirements, tickets will be sold individually as reserved seating, with two seats and a row to be left vacant between issued tickets.
Tickets cost $14 for adults, $8 concession, U18s free.
