Vale Dean Southwood

The Norwood Football Club is deeply saddened by the recent passing of one of our Club patrons and life member, Dr Dean Southwood.

Dr Southwood has been an enormous supporter and contributor to the Norwood Football Club over many years.

Dr Southwood and wife Margaret have donated a considerable amount of financial support that has been directed to assist with our player’s rehabilitation and wellbeing.

Dr Southwood is remembered at the Coopers Stadium with the Northern family area being named in his honour.

He was highly regarded by the Norwood fraternity and will always be remembered for his passion, commitment and love of the Norwood Football Club.

The club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Southwood family.
